For Chinese New Year, ACUVUE wanted an ang pao design that went beyond tradition — something people would actually want, use, and share. The brief was clear:

So we took the challenge head-on — with the simplest, smartest idea: show the difference between wearing glasses and wearing contact lenses.
Using a playful pull-tab mechanism, the design transforms instantly: pull the tab and the character goes from wearing glasses to wearing ACUVUE contact lenses. It’s fun, modern, and delightfully satisfying — turning a functional ang pao into an interactive experience.
The result?
A design people wanted to keep, trade, collect, and show off. At launch, it caught on organically — spreading across social feeds and making ACUVUE’s festive moment instantly unforgettable.
