The Malaysian CNY shelf is the most punishing battleground in the FMCG calendar. Every category is loaded with festive limited editions, every brand is fighting for share of basket, and every shopper is moving fast with a list and a price ceiling. So when Coca-Cola asked us to lead their Chinese New Year campaign in Malaysia, the challenge wasn't can we make it look festive — every can on that aisle looks festive. The challenge was: can we make it mean something?

Our concept rooted Coca-Cola in the oldest tradition of the season — the giving and receiving of blessings. Fu for happiness. Lu for prosperity. Shou for longevity. Each can became a symbolic carrier of a wish, transforming a refreshment product into a vessel of festive intention. The system extended from limited-edition packaging into a unified campaign of key visuals and retail communication, turning every consumer touchpoint into a moment of cultural resonance. Modern branding, ancient meaning, sharp shelf impact — all on a 330ml can.
